This exhibition traces key trajectories in Chinese Canadian history from the late 18th century to the present, from early Chinese-Indigenous relations to transnational migrations spanning Hong Kong, South Africa, Thailand, and Singapore. As the Chinese Canadian Museum’s inaugural exhibition, it offers a critical prelude to the diverse identities and contributions of Chinese diasporas in Canada. Co-curated with Sarah Ling.
